A Creative Mess
Training Course
03-10/11/2025
Oroslavje, Croatia
The Main Aim
The Creative Mess training invites participants on a journey to rediscover and activate their creative core. This is not about becoming an artist or an inventor. It is about breaking the myths of who is “allowed” to be creative, moving beyond inner and outer barriers, and learning to see everyday life through a creative lens.
By exploring and playing, participants will:
-
Strengthen their wellbeing - building routines and resilience that turn challenges and failures into fuel.
-
Find personal creative styles and learn how to nurture them.
-
Unlock ways to guide young people in doing the same, so that a single spark of imagination can ripple through whole communities.
Objectives:
During The Creative Mess training course participants will:
-
Understand creativity and what creativity is not. Break common myths and stigma, and reclaim creativity as a human capacity, not just an artistic skill.
-
Support youth creativity. Explore why creativity matters for young people and how it can respond to the struggles they face today.
-
Self-expression through creative experiments. From collective art to improvised games, stretch the boundaries of what “being creative” can mean.
-
Apply creative thinking tools and methods that can be turned into real tools for youth work.
-
Move from idea to action. Discover how to transform sparks of inspiration into concrete projects and help young people do the same.
-
Overcome creative blocks. Develop strategies to keep imagination alive when motivation drops.
-
Boost wellbeing through creativity. Learn how creative thinking supports mental health: overcoming challenges, handling failure, and creating healthy structures and routines.
-
Co-create and collaborate. Experience the power of collective creativity and learn how to build inspiring, supportive environments for youth.
